Eagle Technology has a long association with horse racing having sponsored the Eagle Technology Counties Cup for over 20 years. In 2009 Eagle sponsored the Eagle Technology Race Day at the Auckland Racing Club at Ellerslie for the second consecutive year, which was the first meeting of the 'Christmas at The Races' series at Ellerslie.

The sponsorship included a series of races such as  the Eagle Technology Cup and the Trevor Eagle Memorial Race,  as well as other races on the day which were sponsored by partners and associates such as Staples and Rodway.

Eagle Technology celebrated its sponsorship with an invitation-only all day ‘Christmas Party’ with staff, clients and their partners enjoying a day of socialising as well as the odd flutter.
