NZIM/Eagle Technology Young Executive of the Year
The NZIM/Eagle Technology Young Executive of the Year Award was established by NZIM and Management magazine to recognise stand out individuals who are prepared to go beyond perceived limitations, to embrace emerging practices, and search out new opportunities, while demonstrating excellence in leadership and management practice. Eagle has sponsored the award since 2005.
The finalists for the NZIM/Eagle Technology Young Executive of the Year Award have been announced at functions held in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland during June and July. Eagle Technology was represented by Gary Langford, CEO, at the Christchurch event and in Wellington and Auckland by Sarah MacDonald, Marketing Communications.
Although there can only be one overall winner, Eagle values the regional awards as every bit as important as the national final which is announced at the Deloitte Top 200 Awards at the end of the year. The candidates share an obvious enthusiasm for the work that they do, and are always strongly supported by the organisations they work for. Eagle commends the judges in all three regions for the time and committment taken to review the submissions, and for the very difficult process of deciding a winner in each.
Eagle Technology is now in its sixth year of sponsoring the Young Executive of the Year Awards and has committed to next year’s event as well.

o Central - Claire Szabo, CEO, English Language Partners New Zealand
o Northern - Sharon McCook, Group Manager, Research Partnerships, for the Health Research Council of New Zealand
