User Group
Welcome to the SAP Business Objects Usergroup of New Zealand section! The aim of this site is to facilitate users within New Zealand. It forms part of the external New Zealand SAP User Group, which incorporates all user group activity for the BusinessObjects Usergroup (http://www.nzsug.co.nz/).
Our focus here will be to highlight upcoming meetings within New Zealand, give links to minutes from past meetings and use this a sounding board for your experience with the product.
FIRST BOUGANZ THEN BOUNZ NOW NZSUG??
The BusinessObjects User Group Australia and New Zealand (BOUGANZ) was formed in 1997 with the establishment of the New South Wales Chapter. The User Group is now also represented in Victoria, Queensland and, until recently, New Zealand.
From 2006, BOUNZ was set up to focus purely on the use of BusinessObjects within the New Zealand market. Eagle facilitated this group along with some customer committee members.
Each chapter is run by a committee made up of BusinessObjects users with one place reserved for a representative from Business Objects or it’s direct reseller. Membership of BOUNZ is free and is restricted to BusinessObjects users. Both business and technical users are represented.
With the purchase of BusinessObjects by SAP, this group now falls under NZSUG. For further information on events, please visit their site (http://www.nzsug.co.nz/).
OBJECTIVES
The User Group has the following objectives:
- To provide a forum where SAP BusinessObjects users can exchange ideas and share experiences and knowledge
- To establish an effective network of SAP BusinessObjects users
- To educate SAP BusinessObjects users about new products, developments and the strategic direction of the company
- To represent members' interests and concerns to SAP Business Objects
- To facilitate close two-way communication between SAP Business Objects and its users in New Zealand
ORGANISATION
Each chapter is run by a committee that organises meetings and other activities for users in its immediate area. These committees also form an overall steering committee responsible for managing the enhancement prioritization process, for liaising with SAP Business Objects and for generally ensuring that the interests of the user group are well represented.
Membership is free!
