14th Annual NZ ESRI Users Group Conference
There are only 2 weeks left before the 14th Annual NZ ESRI Users Group Conference commences in Wellington at the Town Hall, from 2-5 November 2009. This year the theme is ‘Your Place in the Geo-spatial Revolution’.
Already over 250 people have registered to attend this three day conference which commences with workshops on Monday the 20 including the Eagle Technology complimentary** all-day Imagery Workshop: an overview of how imagery can be used for GIS applications including local planning, forestry, agriculture, mining, defence/ intelligence and more.

The conference proper commences on Tuesday 3rd November featuring Hon Maurice Williamson. The Hon Maurice William holds the Ministerial Portfolios for Land Information, Building and Construction, Customs, Statistics and Small Business.
Lawrie Jordan, ESRI Director of Imagery Enterprise Solutions - Lawrie Jordan joined ESRI in November 2008 after 30 years of experience as a leader in the field of image processing and remote sensing including a long-standing strategic partnership and earned a master's degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
Colin MacDonald, LINZ Chief Executive - Colin joined LINZ as Chief Executive in July 2008. Colin has held the position of Deputy Commissioner, Business Development and Systems at the Inland Revenue Department since 2001, and has also acted in the position of Chief Executive there.
