James Higgins, Director of International Business Development, Esri

James Higgins is an economic geographer with experience designing and implementing geographic information systems for public and private sector organisations.  For the last 20 years, he has worked at Esri and now serves as the Director of International Business Development. 

An expert in relating geospatial concepts and technology with business processes, James is frequently called upon as a guest lecturer at universities-colleges and as a keynote speaker at utilities, industry associations, and international conferences.

Brett Dixon - General Manager, Esri Asia Pacific

Brett Dixon joined Esri in 2012 and is currently the company’s General Manager for Asia Pacific. His role sees him interact with many customers from across the region, providing him a unique insight into regional geospatial trends and challenges across many industries.

Brett Dixon is a former Australian Army officer who has worked in the geospatial intelligence domain for the past 21 years.

Previously, he was engaged as a senior consultant by the Australian Defence Force, providing strategic and operational advice on future Defence geospatial intelligence and C4ISR capabilities. For this work, he was awarded a Chief of Defence Force Commendation in 2012. Btett has contributed to the development of enterprise geospatial strategies and concepts, as well as managing the implementation of systems which realise those objectives. He has worked closely with organizations in National & State Government, Public Safety and Utilities.

Brett completed his Master of Engineering Science at the University of New South Wales focusing on Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing.
