Advisor, Esri Advantage Program – Central Wellington

Eagle Technology is the New Zealand distributor of the world's leading Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software products and services. With a large pool of experienced GIS professionals in New Zealand, Eagle Technology delivers enterprise geospatial information solutions to both public and private sectors across New Zealand.

As part of the Esri Advantage Program, the Advisor is a trusted partner with allocated clients and will utilise expert-level knowledge of Esri technology, and proven strengths in consulting to build business relationships with the Advantage Program customer base.

Advisor responsibilities include providing specialist knowledge to clients on relevant GIS strategies, architectures, product selection, and release planning. The Advisor will also work with other Eagle team members to deliver outcomes that support the client to align the Esri technology platform with their business needs.

The successful candidate will have three or more years in a consultative engagement and five or more years of experience implementing or applying GIS concepts using Esri technology. Experience working with Central Government would be an asset. Post-secondary education in Geography, Computer Science, or Engineering, along with strong knowledge/experience with Esri Enterprise software is required.

The Advisor will work proactively within the Eagle team as well as working on-site with various allocated clients. Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to develop new ideas and conceptualise new solutions will be an asset.
